They smell great, burn long and clean. Not a good gift because of the 6 sets I purchased, the oil leaked out of about half of them. Not a horrible mess, just enough to make the jar and labels a bit wet so I kept them for myself.These candles smell great. However, there was a lot of oil that leaked in the package and smudged the labels. I tried to take the labels off, so I could leave them out in the house, but just made even more of a mess. Good candles to keep in a drawer and pullout to use in a pinch, but not great for display or gifting.Tobacco isn't a scent I thought I'd ever want to try, but after seeing it as an ingredient in a "Hobbit" candle, I decided it might be worth a try. This is one of my most favorite candles now, and I light it probably more than any other. It's not a strong scent, but I've found it quite lovely. I think it's one that's more gender neutral, too, both in scent and looks. I do have two complaints about it, though. When it arrived, it looked like it had somewhat melted. There's an oily stain on the outside, and I had to clean it up a bit. Also, it doesn't burn evenly. I know to let it even out the first time I burn it, and I tried for several hours, but it simply wouldn't work with me. Other than that, I do love it.There's a lot of things to love about this candle. The smell, tobacco & amber, is fantastic - masculine but not overly so. Tobacco has a unique scent that is hard to describe; somewhat citrusy but "smoky". It pairs very well with an amber scent. The company has a cute logo on the front, the box is packaged like you could give it as a gift, and the coloration makes this an easy candle to fit in to home decor.My one gripe - the candle, while it did have a great scent when burning, burned unevenly. Even after I left it burning for 4+ hours on the first burn, one section of the side would not melt and still has not melted even after a few more burns. Not a good look for such an expensive candle.However - I'd still recommend this candle.These candles are stylish and smell amazing! You can really tell the quality of these and would make for an amazing gift.Comes with a sheet describing the scents and really helps even newcomers appreciate them.My big candle came pretty greasy with a slick oil on the outside that stained the label (see picture) but I'm sure this was a simple mistake in the shipping or a blip in the production and not likely to effect yours.I really love the scent of this candle. It has a very “manly” scent and isn’t too strong or overpowering. The only issue was some of the wax melted and leaked out of the lid and soaked the label, the lid, and inside the box. I am keeping this candle for myself so I don’t much mind; I just took a damp paper towel to it to clean it up. However, if this was a gift I would have felt pretty bad. The candle is super giftable as it comes with a nice insert message, has a very gift-forward feel to it, and comes with two small candle samples. Besides the wax spill this is a very nice candle set.First thing I do with anycandle is freeze it for aboutan hour.I then burn it for 2 hours.Let it harden.Trim the wick.If you do this you willhave a candle that won'tsmoke and will burn evenly.This candle has a lightscent. I had it in my kitchenWich is small and it lingeredabout 20 minutes.The candle jar is prettyand would makes a nicegift!!This was a free productand this is my honest review.Really nice smelling candles, I love the gift set so I can sample the other smells too. The only thing is when I opened it the big candle was covered in oils. I had to wash it off and when I opened it, it looked like this. I think it's still good to burn? Just not sure what would cause the oils to melt like that. It's 12 degrees outside so I don't think shipping had anything to do with it. Still a nice set they just might want to look into this problem. The 2 sample candles were perfect.
