Loved the clean, fresh not over-powering scent of the freesia pear candle. The blue glass holder matches my bathroom décor. The candle arrived intact - no broken bits of glass in the box. It also burns very clean - no black sootiness. I would definitely buy this one again.I bought both scents of Rengora candles as a treat for myself, and now that they've arrived, I'm adding them to my "great gifts" list. They feel substantial. One candle in its colored box container weighs 1.16lbs. You'll look like you spent a lot of money on these, when the price is actually quite nice, and picked a thoughtful gift. The way the glowing flame lights up the candles' colored glass containers is beautiful. I usually buy Voluspa candles but these have a super clean scent that I haven't found elsewhere.The Twilight English Pear & Freesia scent in the blue container is well-balanced, fresh, and does not overpower your senses. It reminds me of youth, beauty, a clean house, and a sense of leisure time with the potential for adventure.The Nightfall lavender and eucalyptus scent in the magenta container is like having a relaxing bubble bath when you don't have time to indulge in that luxury. The dominant fragrance is lavender and a pleasant soapy-clean scent. Eucalyptus fragrance is not discernable to my nose as one of the main scent stars but I can tell the fragrance has a lot of depth and levels, so whatever role it has...its working. This candle scent would be perfect for clearing the mind of troubles or concerns and having a mental reset to your day.I hope Rengora comes out with more scents.It came very quickly as how it always is with Amazon prime. The first thing I notice is how lovely it smells. It smells so good!!! better than a lot of other candles I’ve purchased from other companies.It also has a beautiful and sturdy packaging. At first I didn’t realize that the cardboard box was just the outer layer of the packaging. Inside it, there’s a beautiful glass packaging inside.I also love the fact that it is made from soy wax. It’s so much safer for my family and the environment.Nice size candle. Smell is amazing, filled up the whole room! I just moved and I have access to my first tub in years and I needed a candle to finish off my bath decor. Did not disappoint! It's burned for a few hours already and I barely made a dent.its a good candle.I love the packaging, but the smell wasn't much, nor was the length of burn time.At this price point, this is a luxury good and it should have all of the trappings of a divine candle. I was under whelmed. Blue glass is very pretty. It is packaged in a matching cylinder, which makes it very giftable. Soy melts evenly. I am not impressed with the scent. I wish it were cleaner with more pear. It is definitely floral and full Freesia. I wouldn't order it again and wouldn't gift it.This candle smells fantastic while it lasts! I was looking for a new candle get rid of the musty smell in my apartment, and this candle definitely did the job. I kept it on for about an hour a day in the evening and it was incredible. It actually helped to relieve stress as well due to its subtle floral scent which isn't too strong or too subtle. Make sure to smother the wick to put the candle out as it smokes quite a bit when you smother the entire candle.It comes in a beautiful jar but I wish it had a lid so I can repurpose it after the candle is gone. It smells like men's cologne.I’m quite keen on scented candles as a way to both relax and freshen the room, so was looking forward to receiving this one from rengöra, as I’ve.not tried this brand before.The candle arrives in a nice round decorative cardboard cylinder, much like most candles of this type do, and it was received from Amazon encased in bubble wrap, which kept the scent at bay. As soon as you take it out of the bubble wrap you can smell the fragrance strongly, and that’s without even lighting it first!My first impression of the fragrance is that it smells a lot like furniture polish that my mum used, which is not quite what I was expecting! The scent deepens on burning and is more pleasant, though I couldn’t get away from the overall furniture polish smell. It may of course be experienced differently by other people, but I’m afraid for me I don’t find it that pleasant- sorry!You can see from the photos I’ve uploaded that the cancel is not a useful information colour, with the purple patches I’m assuming to be lavender, and perhaps the candle smell will change as you burn through it and release different mixes of the scent as it hits those areas, thought as I’m not anywhere near burning it to that degree, it’s only a guess on my part.The candle is made from soy, so it has a good even smoke free burn, and according the the back of the box it arrived in will last for 50 hours, though it only says 40 hours on the product description, which is a little confusing to say the least ?!Overall this is a nice candle if you like the scent, but sadly not for me on this occasion, due to my olfactory receptors smelling it as furniture polish (and for my hubby too). If my review has helped you at all, please give me a ? below - ta!I got the English Pear & Freesia scented candle and it smelt amazing soon as I opened the bubble wrap it was in, the box is perfectly sized to fit the candle in and looks so nice it makes a perfect gift, then I opened the top off the round box and once the smell hit me there is no way I am giving this up. The smell of pear was nice and strong but without being sharp and filled my small room without even lighting the candle. Once lit it gives off a more subtle smell but over a much longer period and it burns very nicely in the blue tinted glass pot.Overall, I love it and can’t fault the product, for me it’s just a little expensive and if you buy one as a gift might need to get yourself one as like me you might not want to let it go.If you have found this review helpful, please hit the helpful button as this inspires me to write more.Selling for the price of £19 (at time of review), I had high expectations for this candle. Don’t let the price sway you into thinking it’s great; in my opinion, it’s not.Unboxing it from Amazon, I was under the impression that it was a luxury item - it came in a lovely cylindrical box. When opened, you find the candle, which is in an attractive blue jar. The smell immediately hit me and, which I found quite pleasant. It smells quite fresh, but thankfully not too overpowering.Upon closer inspection, I noticed a lot of wax residue around the top of the jar, which I personally find ruins the luxury of it - for almost £20 I’d hope the extra effort would’ve gone in to wipe the rim so it looks clean. Once lit, I have to say I’m disappointed. The smell is very, very faint, to the point I can barely smell it! What’s more, the smell has changed a bit, and I have to say I’m glad that I can’t smell it around my room as I find it makes my nose itch. Like others, I had to hold my face about 15cm close to the candle otherwise I couldn’t smell it at all! The candle, even when lit for a little while, tunnelled, and it wasn’t as good as some of the cheaper candles I’ve had.All in all? I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for an attractive, strong smelling candle. The general look is fine (if you can tolerate messiness), the smell is underwhelming. I’d say stick to something more reputable, like yankee - this feels cheaply made.I was very excited to receive this candle, straight away it felt fantastic quality, it's presented in a hard cardboard cylindrical box and inside the candle smelt beautiful as I opened the lid, but then I noticed on the top of the candle there were shards of glass and as I attempted to take the candle out of the box to inspect it the glass jar was completely cracked and broken down the side.The outside of the candle box was wrapped in bubble-wrap when it was sent but I believe there needs to be some padding inside that box to support the candle as there is movement inside the box which during transit has sadly caused it to break.The candle itself once I dusted away the glass shards and removed the broken jar and set the candle on a tray, smelt stunning, it burns slowly and with a lovely and relaxing scent, I have this in the bathroom before bed as I have a lavender soak so the aromas fill the room and are very calming. It's not too overpowering and i'm impressed at the slow burn.Lovely candle but they may need to pad the actual candle better in the box to prevent breakages.
