Candle puts out blackish smoke and doesn't smell like the Polynesian when it's burning. In fact, I would say it has very little scent at all. Hate that we bought two. Also, if you return it, you're going to pay shipping and a restocking fee. On the return, I netted $4.90. Might as well have tossed it in the trash.
