Although these are somewhat smaller candles, they work great for my little balcony. Works rather well for its size and the little tins are cute and re-useable.Soothing smellThese little tins of Citronella candles are remarkably effective, especially considering they’re small. The scent isn’t cloying like some but the bugs sure know to stay away. The second I lit one, the buzzing bee took off. I enjoy having meals on my porch but so do the insects. Now I can even walk away without having food or drink molested. These are attractively packaged, making them a nice summer hostess gift.The candles worked and were a nice touch to our event. They do get really hot since they are glass so use caution with where they are placed and make sure they cool to the touch before picking them up.This candle stinks! And makes me sick!I want my money back!I love these. I find that they burn closer to 12-15 hours. I create a perimeter around our deck with the candles and we don’t have an issue with mosquitoes, or really any other bugs flying around us. For reference, we’re using these on summer nights in Arkansas.Have not, as of yet, tried the candles. It is a nice set.Oh my god. These really helped with my fruit fly issue, nothing else seemed to get them to leave me ALONE. I still saw one today (of writing this) but that is a vast difference to the amount I had seen before hand. One vs what felt like a never ending onslaught. (Have tried all the sizes, but I did try the 8 x 2.5 oz ones)(Not sure if that would effect the results)Nice presentation.... but totally useless candles! One had no wick at all. Others I tried went out within 10 mins, drowned in their own wax. I lit another and tried to pour off the melted wax to stop it drowning (which I have done successfully with other candles) but as soon as I tipped the tin, the whole wick fell out along with the wax! Total waste of moneyI lit up two of them at the picnic table, but I think I should have used all 6. May have some effect, but at dusk we still had to spray on some deet stuff. Can't complain for the price, and the lighting they provide is helpful.Nice packaging and good quality pictures on the jars. Candles smell nice although it's a gift for Christmas so haven't lite them. They are a bit pricey but needed the convenience of prime next day delivery so I guess it is worth it.They are a soy candle with little to no smell, they are fantastic for gifting individually as stocking stuffers and add ons! Totally worth it.Bien
